Sevilla Sign Nolito From Manchester City For £8m
Sevilla have completed the signing of Spain forward Nolito from Manchester City on a three-year contract for a fee, reported to be £7.9m.
The 30-year-old joined City for £13.8m from Celta Vigo last summer and made 30 appearances, scoring six times, arrived the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan on Sunday morning and, after undergoing medical tests, met with club president Jose Castro to sign the contract that will keep him in Andalusia for three years.
The club hopes his arrival will help offset that of Vitolo, who is headed to Atletico Madrid after completing a loan spell because of Atleti’s transfer ban.
Nolito now becomes the fourth summer signing for Los Rojiblancos, with the team also set to count on Ever Banega, Pizarro and Colombian forward Luis Muriel.
