BREAKING: Curfew imposed on southern Kaduna as killings persist
An interim caretaker committee has imposed a 24-hour curfew on Kafanchan town in southern Kaduna as protests took over the town following continued violence in the area.
The curfew is to forestall a breakdown of law and order in the area.

Southern Kaduna had over time witnessed persistent killings with the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai,
recently revealing that he paid some Fulani herdsmen to forestall peace, a disclosure that resulted in
heavy criticisms.The curfew was imposed by the chairman of Jema’a local government area in state, Dr Bege Katuka,
according to Leadership.
